Due to the circulation of the COVID-19 virus and its variants which remains active, any entry into Cameroon and any exit from our territory is supervised. Therefore, it is advisable to be carefully and imperatively informed of the regulations in force by referring in particular to the COVID-19 alert in the travel advice in order, on the one hand, to check whether the trip to or from the considered country is subject to the regime of compelling reasons, and on the other hand, to respect the health measures put in place upon entry into Cameroonian territory.
Conditions of access and departure from the Emirati territory
Entrance :
Passengers taking a flight from Cameroon must present, depending on their situation:
Either a certificate including a QR code and proving that they have received a complete vaccination schedule with a vaccine approved by the WHO or the United Arab Emirates;
Or, failing that, present a negative PCR test valid for less than 48 hours with a QR code;
Either a medical certificate attesting that the passenger is cured of a Covid-19 infection within a period of one month between the date of recovery and the date of arrival, with a QR code.
When a PCR test is required, an English or Arabic version of the results may be requested by some companies. Children under 12 are exempt. For travelers from France, this PCR test can be carried out in any laboratory approved by the French authorities.
Authorities may subject any incoming traveler to a new PCR test upon arrival at the airport. Pending the results, it will have to remain confined. Only those who test positive will be subject to mandatory quarantine.
Before the flight, the UAE authorities recommend that travelers to Abu Dhabi register on the ICA Smart Travel Service platform, in order to facilitate the subsequent obtaining of the "Green Pass" on the AlHosn application (see below) .
Exit :
In the event of a positive test for Covid-19, the traveler will be forced to extend their stay on site (minimum 10 days), at their own expense, and to cover any medical costs. Given the uncertain health situation, nationals who choose to come to the United Arab Emirates for a short stay are therefore strongly advised to provide the necessary travel insurance and financial resources, as well as sufficient flexibility in terms of carrier in the event of a positive Covid result during the trip.
Restriction of internal travel and activities in the UAE
In order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, the UAE authorities are implementing various health measures. Since August 20, 2021, access to certain public places and spaces, in particular in Abu Dhabi, is conditional on the presentation of a "Green Pass" on the AlHosn application and/or the presentation of a PCR test. negative. Anyone currently in the UAE must strictly comply with instructions from local authorities, including travel restrictions, physical distancing rules and wearing a mask indoors. Violators face heavy penalties. It is recommended to regularly refer to the official declarations of the local authorities on this subject, the instructions changing rapidly and which can vary greatly from one emirate to another.

VISA DUBAI / UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Citizens of certain countries are visa-exempt for Dubai and the United Arab Emirates for any stay of 90 days within a 180-day period. However, nationals of Cameroon need an E-visa to stay there.
The visa for the United Arab Emirates is an electronic visa (e-Visa). This is a document that you will receive by email and will need to be printed. You will present it when boarding the flight and when you arrive in the Emirates.
The documents and information required to obtain a United Arab Emirates e-Visa are as follows:
The 1st page of your passport: a scanned copy of the passport in full color and of the best quality, of the biometric given page of the passport, showing the photograph of the applicant and containing their personal information, such as name, date of birth, nationality , expiration date and others.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in the United Arab Emirates.
A high quality, color scanned passport photo, taken on a completely blank, white or very light background, without shadows, and showing the full face from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin, front view, eyes open and without glasses are strongly recommended.
For minors, added:
A copy of the passport of one of the two parents and a copy of the child's birth certificate.
In the case of a minor traveling to the emirates without his parents, it will be necessary to obtain a visa for one of the two parents.
The deadline for issuing the UAE electronic visa is 24 to 48 hours, working days, upon receipt of a complete file.
The visa allows you to enter through Dubai Airport (DXB) or Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH).
With this visa, you can visit Dubai as well as the other Emirates: the federal capital Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
The price of the electronic visa to come to the UAE varies according to the length of stay and the number of entries desired.
Holders of an electronic visa for the United Arab Emirates can stay 30 days, 90 days and up to 2 years (e-Visa Work) in the country.
You will automatically benefit from an additional 10 days of free stay in the United Arab Emirates. This means that a 30-day e-Visa for the United Arab Emirates will allow you to stay for 40 days and a 90-day e-Visa will allow you to stay for 100 days.
