General Information
Individual travel document and validity
The passport is a travel document that allows its holder to certify his identity. The applicant must be of Cameroonian nationality and the validity of the passport is five years.
Who can apply for a passport at the Consulate General of Cameroon in Dubaï?
Anyone with Cameroonian nationality, regardless of their place of residence, provided they are present to collect it from the Consulate.
Minimum validity period to enter the United Arab Emirates:
The minimum validity of your passport must be 6 months on the date of entry into the Emirati territory, under penalty of refoulement.
If you hold a residence visa, this validity is reduced to 3 months.
We encourage you to anticipate the replacement of your passport within a reasonable time (minimum six months before its expiry) and to inform you of the conditions for renewing your residence visa or the conditions of entry into your destination countries.
Passport application
For any passport application, the presence of the applicant is MANDATORY during registration at the Consulate General REGARDLESS OF AGE (including newborns). It is not possible to be represented.
Minors must appear personally with the person exercising parental authority (parent or guardian appointed by the judge).
For the withdrawal of the passport, the presence of any elderly applicant is also mandatory.
Steps for Obtaining a New Passport at the Consulate General of Cameroon in Dubai
► Online pre-enrollment via www.passcam.cm
► Enrollment at the Consulate General of Cameroon in Dubai after obtaining an appointment;
Transmission by the Consulate General of data to the passport production center (Cameroon) and production of passports.
► receipt of said passports at the Consulate General of Cameroon within 30 days;
Validation of passports and automatic sending of notifications (messages) to those concerned.
► withdrawal of the passport at the Consulate General upon presentation of a notification (message) as well as an identity document.
Pre-Enrollment
The first step to obtain your passport is to complete an online pre-enrollment. This process collects your personal information (civil status, contact details, etc.) and prepares the necessary steps for both the consular card and the passport.
It is important to note that the consular card is mandatory to apply for a passport. These are two distinct services, and each must be completed separately, with its own fees and QR code/receipt to present at your appointment.
I. Consular card:
Steps for the consular card:

Log in to ( https://www.evisacam.cm/ords/r/dl_portal/public_portal/home?session=14317001348582 ) and create an account.

Fill in the required personal information and upload the necessary documents.

Pay for the consular card using the available payment methods (bank transfer or mobile payment). The cost of the consular card is 25,000 F CFA for Cameroonians living in the Asia Region.

Once your request is validated, print the receipt or QR code for the consular card.
II. Passport:
Steps for the passport:

Log in to ( https://www.passcam.cm/en ) for pre-enrollment.

Fill in the form with your personal information and upload the necessary documents.

Pay the passport fee of 110,000 F CFA via the available payment methods (bank transfer or mobile payment via a Cameroonian phone number provided during pre-enrollment).

Once your request is validated, print the receipt with barcode provided at the end of pre-enrollment.
You will then receive an SMS from the National Center specifying the center and date of your appointment. On the day of your appointment, present yourself at the Consulate with your consular card and passport receipt.

Registration at the Consulate General
This is the second step, which consists of going to the Consulate General on the date of your appointment with the receipt that was issued to you online after your pre-enrolment. Also provide the documents which will be certified in the services of the Consulate General.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED DURING REGISTRATION:
- The original of the birth certificate + certified copy (to be certified at the Consulate General);
- A valid national identity card + certified copy (to be certified at the Consulate General);
- A supporting document of the profession, if applicable;
- Photocopy of residence;
- Marriage certificate + certified copy, for married women (to be certified at the Consulate General);
- The photocopy of the old passport for the passport renewal;
- Photocopy of the employment contract;
- The certificate of loss for users who have misplaced any official document mentioned above (birth certificate, national identity card, passport);
FOR MINOR APPLICANTS (Under 21)
In addition to the documents mentioned above, please submit:
- A photocopy of the national identity card of the parent or legal guardian, possibly that of the minor over the age of 14 if applicable.
- The legalized parental authorization of the legitimate parents or legal guardian.
- A school certificate for the current year for pupils and students.
- A certified photocopy of the legalized guardianship judgment for children under guardianship.
Chancery fees
- 50 AED representing the costs of certification of the payable parts;
- 200 AED for the delivery of your passport from Cameroon to Dubaï.
NB: the amounts are given for information only and may vary according to the chancery rate in force.
