
Consular Card & Associations
This service is in charge of files relating to associations and the registration of Cameroonians. As such, he is responsible for monitoring the activities and problems of Cameroonian associations, the recognition of associations; the regular updating of the relevant register, and the issuance of consular cards.
Association recognition procedure
Documents required :
- Stamped request addressed to H.E. the Consul General;
- Statutes and Rules of Procedure;
- List of members;
- Photocopy of the identity document of the Head of the Association (Please provide the telephone contacts and e-mail addresses of the Association).
Issuance of the Consular Card
Launch of Second-Generation Consular Services (Consular Cards)
The Consul General of the Republic of Cameroon in Dubai and the Northern Emirates hereby informs Cameroonian nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that the second-generation consular services were officially launched on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the Consulate General.
This initiative, in accordance with the 2024 Finance Law, is part of a broader effort to modernize and secure Cameroon’s public services abroad through the digitalization of consular procedures, particularly the issuance of consular cards.
Important Information
Validity of old consular cards:
Old consular cards remain valid until their expiration date.
Renewal of old consular cards:
Holders may, if they wish, renew their cards before expiration.
Cost of the new consular card:
The second-generation consular card is set at CFA 25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand CFA Francs) for Cameroonians residing in the Asia Region.
This amount may vary slightly depending on exchange rates and applicable bank charges.
Online Application Procedure
All applications must be submitted exclusively online via the official portal:

Applicants are required to:

Create an account or log in if already registered;

Select the requested service (Consular Card Application) from the dashboard;

Complete all required information;

Upload the necessary supporting documents;

Make secure payment using the available payment methods;

Track the progress of the application online.
Once the application has been validated by the Consular Officer, an approval notification will be sent to the registered email address.
The applicant must then download and print the approval receipt containing a QR code and present themselves at the Consulate General for biometric enrollment.
The consular card will be printed and handed over to the applicant.
Please note that the consular card remains mandatory for access to consular services at the Consulate General.
